Quick Tip: Update Your Beneficiary Designations
It's important to review your beneficiary designations for your retirement plans and insurance policies annually — especially if you get married or divorced or have children or grandchildren. These beneficiary designations override your will, so if you've kept your will up to date but haven't changed your beneficiary designations, the intended person(s) may not inherit your retirement accounts. Please be mindful that inheritance laws vary by state of residence, therefore you should consult with a competent advisor or attorney for more information. To update your beneficiary designations, you may call Investor Services and ask for an Employee Information Change form, or download it from the forms page of our Web site. Then send the completed form to the return address or fax number on the form.
